Live Arrival Policy

     Please review our LIVE ARRIVAL POLICY before placing an order in extreme temperatures.
     To translate: If our regular replacement guarantee is NOT in effect due to cold/hot temperatures, or delay in arrival cause by shipping carrier, the client must file a claim with USPS to get reimbursed.  Take pictures of everything! A Majik suggestion would be when checking tracking during these times Screen shot the delivery notifications as you check them.  It helps with the claim.  Please do not be afraid to ask us for help!  The policy will be posted below.

    Live guarantee will NOT BE IN EFFECT under the following circumstances:
  • If the package is NOT HELD AT THE POST OFFICE, and picked up the same day that is has arrived.  Tracking is provided for this reason, please make plans to pick up ASAP.
  • If the package is DELIVERED, you have 30 minutes to alert Majik Bug Barn of any issues or concerns.
  • If you choose not to purchase a heat pack there is no guarantee, we are shipping out of Illinois.
     We CANNOT offer a live guarantee for orders shipped during extreme temperatures.  These temperatures include 90 degrees and above, as well as 40 degrees and below.  This is the daytime high/low temperature, not the temperature at the time of delivery.
     IF YOUR PRIORITY MAIL SHIPMENT TAKES LONGER THAN THREE DAYS TO ARRIVE RESULTING IN DOA(Dead on Arrival), IT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FILE A CLAIM WITH THE POST OFFICE TO BE REIMBURSED.
     If your shipment arrives on time as according to 2-day priority USPS with DOA you have two options:
****In the event of a DOA, please DO NOT discard the dead insects or product packaging.  They may be needed to file a claim with USPS.****
  1.  You will receive a credit on a future order for the amount of DOA insects (All orders are packaged with a 10% over count to cover any possible DOA).
  2.  We will reship the replacements free of charge on our next scheduled shipping day.  We cannot reship an order after a second consecutive failure.
